Master Plan

The master plan for the newly acquired property in Rio Dulce/Cooperativa is designed to incorporate all the facets of a comprehensive Christian Ministry to the entire Rio Dulce region of Guatemala. The overall vision for the work of God in this area is an outgrowth of the medical clinic ministry we began several years ago and currently maintain in this poverty ridden area of the country. The core concept that drove this master plan is to meet the Guatemalan people at their points of critical need which opens the door widely to share the Gospel.

1.      Beginning with the provision for custodial care for orphans and

unwed mothers in a loving, nurturing Christian environment.

2. Expanding the provision of medical and health care needs in the region.

 3.    Providing food and nutrition for the orphanage and

        other people in need.

 4.     Offering vocational training with a Christian

influence which provides work skills for life

          support

The plan is designed to facilitate the expansion of the Rayo de Esperanza ministry into all these areas as God provides the resources and manpower. The development on the site will begin with the construction of the care ministry facility, an orphanage for infants and preschool age children. The project has been designed to grow incrementally in ministry outreach and facilities as God leads and provides. The work of developing the master plan has been divided into phases for the purpose of describing how the multi faceted ministry could possibly proceed. Undoubtedly, as this work potential program starts to grow it could change as time goes by.
